  • Promotion of Innovation and Research: Investment in research and development is vital to our location’s future viability. We expect a continuation and intensification of funding programs that support innovation in SMEs.

The transformation of the automotive industry is in full swing. In this context, we expect the federal government to provide clear and reliable framework conditions that support this transition without jeopardizing the competitiveness of suppliers:

  • Technological Openness: A wide range of technologies should be considered when shaping future mobility. In addition to electromobility, alternative drives and fuels must also be promoted.
  • Infrastructure Expansion: A nationwide and demand-oriented expansion of the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and infrastructure for alternative fuels is essential.
  • Qualification of the Workforce: The further education and qualification of our employees for the requirements of new technologies must be supported by government programs.
  • Strengthening Germany as an Industrial Location

  • Securing Energy Supply: An affordable and secure energy supply is the foundation of our production. We expect an energy policy that ensures supply security while advancing the energy transition, without compromising the competitiveness of industry.

  • Securing Skilled Labor: The shortage of skilled workers is a major challenge. We expect the government to take measures to make technical professions more attractive, promote vocational training, and facilitate targeted immigration of skilled workers.
  • Promotion of Digitalization: The digitalization of production processes offers great opportunities. We expect support for the implementation of digital technologies and the expansion of digital infrastructure.
